We literally go back to the dictionary to describe this course; as Merriam-Webster defines “Immersion” as – to plunge into something that surrounds or covers. There’s no more fitting word for how this course addresses the topics surrounding Everyday Carry (EDC) for the Armed American. This is a single-day (4 hour) investment in the mindset and mechanics developed by the compilation of thousands of hours immersed in the realm of violence, both abroad and in the US. You will develop a genuine understanding of topics ranging from Philosophy to Physics and dive into the psychological aftermath of post engagement interactions with others, in addition to Law Enforcement, to increase
your odds of survival. This course will challenge your understanding of conflict and bring inventory to your skillset!

- Holster selection, Carry Position, Clothing shortfalls, Ammo considerations

- Mechanics of Accuracy and rapid target acquisition and follow up precision

- The Defensive Mindset – Detect, Avoid and Neutralize

- Self Defense principles – body mechanics, stance, moving with a loaded weapon

- Legal Considerations and landmark cases. Atypical defense scenarios

- Post Engagement – LE interaction

Course Duration: 1 Day –4 Hours

If you are carrying in defense of yourself or others you have a responsibility to be prepared, capable and confident in the use of your weapon system. DHT offers this unique opportunity for citizens to be exposed to the latest tactical principles being proven around the globe. This courses is held in the DHT Training Facility and is presentation only. No live guns or ammo.

This course will be offered periodically at Dark Horse Tactical and can be presented through our mobile training program as well!

We understand that cancellations occur when situations arise that are out of the span of our control. Course registration fees
are 100% non-refundable. Students may waive attendance for the course by contacting DHT via phone, message or email 7
days prior to the course date to provide notice and receive credit to attend the booked course on a future date. Students who
fail to contact DHT to provide notice will not be afforded the credit for another training date. Further, in the event any course
is cancelled by DHT a future course date will be implemented for students to attend or receive a credit for a future class. By
