This is course is designed to bring each student to a practical experience level in the safe and controlled environment. Once completed, you will have an exceptional understanding of all aspects of utilizing the
AR/M4 platform. The course begins with the necessary review of AR/M4 specific safety, operation and handling followed by static drills of increasing complexity and difficulty. The student should expect to hold various shooting positions at multiple targets which vary in distance and type.
This is a one-day (8 hour) investment designed to achieve a high degree of confidence in your use of this weapon in a lethal threat situation.

- Loading/Unloading/Clearing/Handling Procedures
- Weapon nomenclature and common terminology
- Concepts of Accuracy and rapid target acquisition and follow up precision
- Irons vs RDS vs Multi Power optics w/ Zero confirmation
- Gear considerations/Slings/Mags/pouches
- The Defensive Mindset – Detect, Avoid and Neutralize
- Methods of Deployment, progressive-intensity weapons handling
- Self Defense principles – body mechanics, stance, moving with a loaded weapon
- Legal Considerations and landmark cases. Atypical defense scenarios
- Post Engagement – LE interaction

your skills and knowledge can excel. DHT offers this unique opportunity for citizens to be exposed to the
latest tactical principles being proven around the globe. Courses are held in the southern Nevada region
on a reoccurring basis and mobile courses are available on a case by case.

Course Fee: $300
Ammo Req: 400 rounds of factory loaded ammunition (NO RELOADS) is a practical estimate of the maximum round count for a
typical student in a typical course of this type. This number can fluctuate based upon the individual
students desired training intensity or ability.
Load Out Requirements:
- Rifle with 3 standard capacity magazines
- Magazine pouch, carrier
- Sling (Two points of attachment is preferred)
- Eye / Ear / Hand protection
- Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing (long sleeves preferred)
- Food/Water/exigent shelter/personal protective supplies

**Cancellation Policy**
We understand that cancellations occur when situations arise that are out of the span of our control. Course registration fees are 100% non-refundable. Students may waive attendance for the course by contacting DHT via phone, message or email 7 days prior to the course date to provide notice and receive credit to attend the booked course on a future date. Students who fail to contact DHT to provide notice will not be afforded the credit for another training date. Further, in the event any course is cancelled by DHT a future course date will be implemented for students to attend or receive a credit for a future class.
