Dark Horse Firearms has teamed up with Dark Horse Tactical, elite Law Enforcement Tactical Teams and former SOF members to produce the ultimate fighting carbine.
Dark Horse Tactical trains active law enforcement, security professionals and civilians in firearms, tactics and skills. The members of their instructor cadre all have extensive military and/or law enforcement experience and have served as members of Tier 1 units, law enforcement tactical teams, private security contractors and executive protective details.
The core of the design is reliability, efficiency and precision. Every component has been hand selected, tested and approved by the instructors at DHT and other advisors to produce the best custom precision carbine out of the box, nothing more, nothing less.
Extensive testing with multiple barrel lengths, trigger systems, stock options and ammunition have been conducted and the DHT-15 SE DMR in its final configuration has performed flawlessly.
While the Dark Horse Firearms DMR was born from real life experience, it is the ideal platform for the Law Enforcement professional assigned to a Patrol Designated Marksman program or the small caliber precision rifle enthusiast.
Chambered in 223 Wylde, the rifle is built upon a Dark Horse Firearms all billet receiver and includes the following features: Geissele SSA trigger, Magpul MIAD grip, ambidextrous charging handle, short throw capable ambidextrous safety selector, Magpul STR stock, RCA DHT bolt carrier group, 18” rifle length gas 1:7.7 twist barrel, 15" ultra light weight M-lok rail or ARCA infused Handguard.
The DHT-15 SE Carbine was built by gunfighters for gunfighters. If you are serious about using an AR platform rifle for lawful, defensive purposes or want a proven all around utility rifle for hunting or varmint control, look no further then the DHT-15.
Lower - The DHT-15 SE Billet Lower is made of 7075 T6 billet aluminum with a Cerakote protective coating. All dimensions are designed to accept all Milspec internals, stocks, grips, magazines and most accessories. We designed our lower with an ample magazine well to allow for smooth magazine changes in high stress situations and the integrated trigger guard is broad with rounded edges for comfort whether you are on patrol, competing or in an all day training class.

Upper - 7075 T6 billet aluminum with a Cerakote coating. Our base upper has several upgrades to include a 1:7.7” twist barrel made of 416 stainless steel. The receiver is equipped with M4 feed ramps and the upper comes with a 15” M-Lok or ARCA rail with a low pro gas block and melonited gas tube. Rubber City Armory Black Nitrided BCG for added reliability and easy maintenance is standard.

The Rubber City Armory (RCA) is an enhanced Bolt Carrier Group coated in an advanced Black Nitriding process to create a BCG that requires minimal lubrication, is corrosion and wear resistant and is the easiest BCG to clean.

BSF BARRELS:
"After turning down the barrel, we jacket a 416R Stainless steel match barrel in a roll-wrapped carbon fiber sleeve and load it under tension. We use this jacketing method rather than wrapping the barrel in carbon fiber because this method of wrapping has been proven to trap heat and cause delamination. The carbon fiber we use is specially designed to move at the same expansion rate as 416R stainless steel. We machine slots into the carbon fiber allowing air to move around the barrel and vent heat quicker without any delamination issues. Using the Carbon Fiber this way keeps the rifling straighter the warmer the barrel gets because it's under tension. This allows us to maintain superior stiffness and strength while keeping the barrel extremely lightweight."
DARK HORSE TACTICAL ACCURACY COMMITMENT:
Each DHT-15 SE DMR weapon system is tested at 100 yards using match-grade ammunition. Each weapon system is certified to shoot 1 MOA or better at 100 yards.
We cannot guarantee end-user proficiency level, optic quality, mounting solution, platform familiarity and ammunition is capable of obtaining this level of accuracy. The end-user should be aware that the above listed factors; as well as environmental variables can greatly affect accuracy.
