Come join us for our Stop the Bleed course!
This is a non-traditional Stop the Bleed course that teaches the use of pressure, wound packing, tourniquet use and
chest seals!
We use simulated blood and wound trainers to make it as close to real life as possible!
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Kenny O’Rourke
Kenny started in Emergency Medical Services in 1984 with the California Department of Forestry. After returning to Nevada, he joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, some of my duties included overseeing the AHA CPR Training Program and instructing the EMT-Basic and EMT-Advanced courses within the department. He continued to work part-time in the local EMS system until he retired and went on to Nursing school. He has worked as a full-time Emergency/Trauma nurse in Nevada’s largest and busiest hospital for nearly a decade. He also serves as a nurse educator.
He is a Stop the Bleed Instructor and Ambassador.
We understand that cancellations occur when situations arise that are out of the span of our control. Course registration fees are 100% non-refundable. Students may waive attendance for the course by contacting DHT via phone, message or email 7 days prior to the course date to provide notice and receive credit to attend the booked course on a future date. Students who fail to contact DHT to provide notice will not be afforded the credit for another training date. Further, in the event any course is cancelled by DHT a future course date will be implemented for students to attend or receive a credit for a future class. By enrolling in our training, you certify that you have read & understand our cancellation policy.
